There are many Rolexes on the market that we have already talked about, and the various models of Rolex brothers are very familiar. So today I would like to say that everybody is talking about the entry table in the antique Rolex, Submariner 5513.
Rolex Submariner 5513
In layman’s terms, 5513 is now the “Grandpa” of the sale of water ghosts (Submariner). The Rolex Rolex Submariner 5513 was introduced in 1962 and has continued production until 1989. Rolex Submariner 5513 size 40 mm (also written 39), using 1530 movement (in the case of 1520). And the 5513 simultaneous Rolex Submariner 5512. 5512 and 5513 is the first to increase the crown of the Submariner shoulder, basically established the appearance of the modern Rolex submariner (hydro). The difference between the 5512 and the 5513 lies in the movement. The 5512 uses a 1560/1570 movement and is certified by the Observatory; the 1513 used by the 5513 is not certified by the Observatory.
Submarine 5513 production is very large. Because the 5513 has been continuously produced from 1962 to 1989, the production cycle has lasted more than 20 years and the output is very large. In contrast, 5512 produced from 1958 to 1978, 5512 yield less. 5513 was replaced by the Rolex Submariner 14060 in 1989 (now the predecessor of the Nicole 14060M and 114060), and the 5513 is one of the largest models of vintage sports.
Submerged 5513 has a high facial value. One of the hallmarks of Rolex is its highly continual appearance, with many models updated, but the overall appearance has changed little. The antique water ghost 5513 looks like the current one, but there are many differences in detail. The first major feature of 5513 is “paste noodles.” The time scale in the dial is directly a luminous paint. Unlike the current Water Ghost, there is a gold border on the edge of the luminous hour scale. Because at that time, the luminous coating technology was limited, so over time, the luminous paint yellow discoloration, the time scale after the color is very beautiful, very antique taste.
